Lovehoney Power Play 7 Function Male Massage Wand Review

A couple of years ago, I went out a limb and purchased a Hitachi Magic Wand (review for that soon) for my wife. This was the first vibrator she had ever used. Turns out it, it would completely change our sex life for the better. Since that time, I have been on some what of a quest to find great sex toys, some have been great, some have been terrible – I will speak more to each as I publish reviews for them.

When I first got the Hitachi, I was so curious that I immediately opened it up, turned it on, and pressed it against myself (over my pants). It instantly felt amazing! I knew I had stumbled upon something that was great. However, while this is not a review about the Hitachi, I do have to credit the Magic Wand for why I now own a Lovehoney Power Play Male Massage Wand and why I like the concept of male vibrators.

Let’s start with the good stuff.

• It has pretty strong vibrations that will get the job done.
• It has several patterns. Though, for me, I prefer the constant options and vary the speed.
• It’s a good go to for quick pleasure and great for edging.
• It’s a nice size, and can easily be used by my wife if her vibrator runs out of juice.
• It’s quiet. I have some others that are not so quite – more on those in another review.

Now for the stuff I think could be improved

• I think the idea that it wraps around you is a good one, however it’s been pretty underwhelming for me. IMO, it could be improved by reducing the space between the flanges to create and even tighter feel, and beef up the flanges to make them a bit more solid so they get more rumbly.
• While the size is good, more pleasure would be derived from a slightly larger head. However, that would of course make it less discrete and likely louder.

While it’s advised to use lube to allow it to slide up and down your shaft, this didn’t really do it for me. Instead, I prefer to just press it against where the shaft meets the head – something I discovered with the Hitachi.

Overall, the Lovehoney Power Play Male Massage Wand is a good option to have in your sex toy chest and I do recommend it for fast, easy fun! If you have never experienced the feel of a vibrator, you are in for a real treat!
